“Prayer For Christian Unity”

Hi there,
I’m just emailing to let you know about the exciting things happening on the Scottish Border’s Campus over the next few and the past few months!
I’m sure you will be delighted to hear that an official CU has finally been set up and has grown from just 2 people to roughly 16-18 people since September. It’s all very exciting! We also elected ourselves a small commitee of 4, who were given the incredible opportunity to go to the UCCF:New Leaders training weekend around a month ago, where we were all renewed with such a passion for Christ and sharing his word to our campus.

Come September, we will be taking a key part in the on-goings of the campus and hope to do many outreach events, and will also be doing a church-search over the first 3/4 weeks of term for the fresher’s and hopefully some of the current students – just so you can expect some new faces!! Other things we are organising together is the ‘Pure’ course, refreshments on Thursday and Friday nights outside ‘Move’ and ‘Indigo Rooms’ etc, Dial-a-Donut, Text-a-Pancake. Just lots of exciting opportunities in the pipe-line that we are praying will go well and more people will start to attend!

We would appreciate grately your prayer and support over the coming months, we are very expectant that we will be blessed completely over the next year but having the local churches support will also give us a firm standing. Already we are facing opposition from our Student Union who are not keen to let us hold our meetings in the designated area, but we are praying for this to change as this area is key to people SEEING the CU and being able to just come and see what it’s about without it being awkward etc..

Please do come along to any of our events, we are finishing up for this term next week but from September onwards I would be happy to email you a timetable of the things going on if you would like?
It would be amazing if we could possibly put your email address on the mailing list just as a means of contact?

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this email,

Thank you

Lois Fulton
